razor and trestles clusters /home areas are automatically and independently backed up each Sunday morning if they fit the size criteria (<150 GB). Each cluster home area is only backed up if size is less than 150 GB (150 million KB). This backup limit is independent of any quota.
/scratch and /storage areas have no backup whatsoever. Because of space constraints on razor GPFS, we are no longer able to keep snapshots.
To find the size of your /home directory, on trestles, example size is 2,359,064 KB or 2.3 GB.
rfeynman:tres-l2 $ du -skD ~ 2359064 /home/rfeynman
On razor (lines truncated for readability). /home space is gpfs1 KB, which should be less than 150,000,000, and is 10,170,080 in the example. This also shows your GPFS quota status for /home and /storage (gpfs2). /scratch is the first, filesystem gpfs, and has no quotas.

If your home area is too large to backup, you can move less important files to the corresponding /storage area, see moving_data.
